Bear Creek Outfitters, in conjunction with North Caribou Camps, has many options for those interested in moose hunting. Bear Creek Outfitters has a number of archery tags for Wildlife Management Unit ISB. This area has pletiful lakes, swamps, rivers, and clearcuts which are accessible by logging roads. This is the same area as the bear hunt, so the terrain and animal movements are very familiar to the guides.
North Caribou Camps offer weapon of choice hunts in Wildlife Management Unit 1C. These are remote areas only accessible by float plane, so there is little pressure on the moose population. |
