Moose Hunting At Its Best
Bear Creek Outfitters, in conjunction with North Caribou Camps, has many options for those interested in moose hunting. Bear Creek Outfitters has a number of archery only tags for Wildlife Management Unit 15B. This area has plentiful lakes, swamps, rivers, and clearcuts which are accessible by logging roads. This is in the same area as the bearhunt, so the terrain and animal movements are very familiar to the guides.
North Caribou Camps also offer weapon of choice moose hunts in Wildlife Management Unit 1C. These are remote areas only accessible by float plane, so there is little pressure on the moose population.
